OPEN CALL TO ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS
Announcing our next Too Tired Project Slideshow: #TooTiredWarsaw: presented in collaboration with Leica 6x7 Gallery Warszawa. Join us for this evening of public conversation on the relationship between mental health and photography.
Scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 6-8pm at Leica 6x7 Gallery (located at ul. Mysia 3Śródmieście, Warsaw). Moderated by Agnieszka Jucewicz, the event will feature a projected slideshow, panel discussion, and Q&A with local photographers Wojciech Grzedziński, Zuzanna Szarek, art therapist Aleksandra Chmielnicka-Plaskota, and Too Tired Project founder @tara_wray.
It's free to submit & free to attend.
Deadline to submit: Wednesday, March 13, 2019
Criteria: we want to see photography as it relates to your experiences with depression and other mental health related issues. A very brief text with your submission helps us see the work in the context of the project; it's appreciated but not required.
Instructions (must complete both steps in order to be considered):
- Email your submission—no more than ONE JPG sized at 2000 pixels on the longest side—with #tootiredwarsaw and your name in the subject line. Title your image first name, last name, using the following example: Mary_Smith_tootiredwarsaw.jpg. In the body of your message please indicate whether you are local and will be attending the show. If accepted to a previous show please feel free to submit again using a different image. Send to [email protected]
Too Tired Project slideshows are community-based art events that bring people together IRL to share photography they've made in response to their struggles with depression. If you would like to discuss bringing a slideshow to your city, please feel free to get in touch.
