Sunday Spotlight: Andrew D. McClees

Project Title: XURC

Artist Statement: XURC is a chronicle of days lost to depression and grief. A look at depressive and intrusive negative thought patterns amongst the monotony of urban life in a five-block radius - via abstract photography.

Bio: Andrew D. McClees is a photographer living and working in Maine after leaving the Film Industry in 2019. His primary medium of focus is the photographic book, and is currently working on a book about Lewiston, Maine - alongside his more experimental work like that contained in XURC.
